Thank you for visitng my site! I'm an aspiring author from the pacific northwest and a zillennial which means my horror foundation is comprised of movies like The Ring (2002) and Saw (2004) that inspired my early infatuation with the genre. Now, my core belief behind my takes is on par with other genre fanatics: horror is in everything, and everything is in horror. I believe that it portrays life's multifaceted sides the most creatively and that generally horror movies are more entertaining than other genre counterparts.

I started posting horror reviews in August 2021 to my own site, Red Rose Horror, and sort of onto Instagram, in part to channel my horror rants into something productive. I ideate, research, create, watch, design, post, and manage everything myself without collaborators or artificial intelligence. I spend a lot of free time on horror, including researching films & collecting information about horror titles. I love horror and I'll be involved with it anyways, even if I don't post about it.

In addition to non-fiction reviews I also write fiction (horror novel manuscripts & short stories so far), poetry (including a "published" collection), and non-horror essays (subjects like politics, marketing, and tech).
