...spent too much time and money on horror to not channel it into something productive, which has become Red Rose Horror, this site and associated accounts primarily focused on horror genre reviews. Most style and thematic choices correlate with my belief that everything is in horror and that horror is in everything. After I began reviewing horror in August 2021 and I subsequently started watching 3X+ more horror media and news than what I used to, I believe that even more.

In part I mean: pretty much anything can be a horror movie with minor tweaks (because everything is scary to someone even the fluffiest cute animal) but also that all horror movies include or reference deeper themes and plots. I believe that horror genre stories allow viewers to dive into the spectrums of human emotion better than other genres while also providing more surface level entertainment for those opting out of that entirely.
