Above you can download my first book, a collection of poetry titled, My Impaired Judgments, that primarily focuses on mental health struggles and addiction. The poems in My Impaired Judgments were originally written by me, Kayla Moreé, between 2010-2025 and have been edited by me since. Nothing is offered as fact or evidence and is only my perspective,  largely from my POV at the times in which the poems were written. Due to this these poems only reflect that single perspective on the situations and scenarios included but not as the sole truth.

​My hope is that the poetry in My Impaired Judgments finds those who relate to (or at least connect with) my poems and ultimately benefit from them, even if they just provide slight entertainment while reading. Despite the subject matter being focused on my experiences with substance abuse and mental health struggles I do not believe that my circumstances are the worst or even relatively bad but rather that they simply just are. These poems do not set out or intend to pinpoint a cause or treatment path for addiction and is only offered as 1 story told through poetry.
