Fiction
Alongside RRH posts I write fiction in the form of poetry, short stories, and novels. This page has samples of 2 novels, which include the concept for a fantasy novel series, The Kingdom's Embrace, and the start of a horror novel, A Grey Area. In addition to the novels is more information about my poetry book that will be posted soon, Home Shaped Cut Out.
Gray Area horror novel
The horror novel, Gray Area, is a fiction piece I work on following a soul trapped in Purgatory. This pour soul discovered like many others that unbeknownst to those on Earth the universe runs on a type of currency that corporations in Purgatory have long used as collateral and securities investments that those souls are responsible for upon their arrival. Before souls can transition to the Other Side they must work to pay off their debts, typically aiding in the same operations that have caused them to be stuck.
Poetry
A full collection of poems will be available soon in ebook format, Home Shaped Cut Out. The poems in this collection were written between 2010 and 2025 but all have been edited since original writing and are not in chronological order. Each poem is a personal work about my life and or thoughts about the world at the time of writing. Some details like names and locations have been changed to protect identities and all claims are alleged and from my point of view, but not presented as fact.

The Kingdom's Embrace fantasy series
Fantasy fiction series about a realm called Chromnoiah which various, intertwined kingdoms compose. Following a Flemen, the people who mine and harvest the main power source in Chromnoiah at the behest of Aurumreach, the ruling kingdom, as they discover the realm's secrets and inner workings without the power to change anyhting on their own.
Some kingdoms that comprise the realm of Chromnoiah include the Metteheim Fiefdom to the far north surrounded by thick forests surrounding the base of steep mountain ranges; the Diamoria Kingdom is to the northwest of this with an unforgiving arctic terrain and heavy reliance on ice architectural features with a strict social hierarchical structure imposed on everyone. To the direct south is the Revelaria Vineyards overseen by the royal family who are responsible for creating and supplying the majority of wines and spirits of the realm, known for showing off their wealth while hoarding most of the valleys spoils for themselves.
The same forest's heat that drifts slightly northward towards the valley flows freely southward along the coast and to the bottom portion of the realm, creating a humid and hot terrain perfect for agriculture and livestock which Aurumreach oversees. Secondarily to providing much of the food for the realm the royal of the region oversee the Flemen's to their north whom aren't represented in the realm as full citizens of any kingdom, rather stateless. To the direct east of the Forest is Sopphite Shores, a cultural center and place notably politically neutral that serves as a meeting place for the realm.
The only democratically ran region of the realm some citizens of Chromnoiah have the ability to vote on who controls this economic and cultural port. Connected to Sheridan's Cove via intricate underground tunnel networks used during the last rebellion the Sopphite area is cooler and grimier than the neighboring coastal power spot. Sheridan's Cove overlooks Echo's Keep, the former cultural hub of Chromnoiah that faded in popularity after Reinholme's rebellion made the lower southeast corner obsolete. Now where realm knowledge is studied and stored Echo's Keep is off the coast of the southeast between Sheridan's Cove and Reinholme. Since the rebellion and subsequent scorching ground raids Reinholme lays as a ruined reminder for the people of Aurumreach to stay in line and not incur the wrath of the realm.
